3D Printing

We use 3D printing for a lot of prototypes. It is cost effective and has a quick turnaround especially if you own your own printer. We also produce production parts in medium volumes. Sometimes the parts you are looking for cannot be bought and without the ability to print them, it makes the products or prototypes impossible to take on.

It allows us to print large parts ( See the Airport Beacon ), parts in volume even moulds for casting. The Drone Nav/Strobe has 3 very small parts that form a framework for the actual light. The Airport Beacon is almost 220mm diameter x 400mm in height. The whole light was printed in the 5 sections that were later machined from aluminium.

We use a high quality printer that is able to print large numbers of small parts, reliably in conformity and absolute size.
